Yes, a couple of percent across the board is worth it.
No way, absolute cheapest every time.
I'd pay for an optional premium service, order by order.

I agree that we should all expect good service, and not have to pay extra for it. But in reality that isn't the case unfortunately
I would always pay a few extra pounds for a company that have a good delivery turn round, good RMA systems and avaliablity. Some companys I now will alwyas use as I know there going to be near the best price, brilliant service etc,
