    Anyone ever been to China?

Ah well, seems I am off to Beijing next week for a wee business trip

Anyone ever been? Apart from the longish pile of brick is there anything else you guys recommend?

Besides that, if you have been there was techy stuff much cheaper to buy

    Cheers m@

Fair enough, quite telling of Cov that everyone from there has detrimental slogans in their location bar

I have a friend that has taken a gap year out in china, teaching the children there english. He's doing emails to a load of us, telling us what it's like etc. I could give you a few example of what he's said if you like, but it's mostly about what he does in a normal day (get up, have breakfast noodle/rice etc), go for ti che (SP?) teach classes of 60 and so on. I don't think most of what he's said would be of much use to you, as you going to beijing, which i think is a big city, and as far as i can tell he's quite far away from cities.
