Can anyone get the original source video for me, someone more code orientated maybe? Having trouble downloading it for viewing offline:

I am not sure, but I have a thought this is out of copyright due to date, if that is the case or just assuming its fair use:

Already tried that Animus no joy, it's some wierd player called ooyala and not sure what it's encoded with! It does allow you to download a 6.5Mb file of .undefined file extension, but I can't get the bugger to play no matter what I rename it too.
Try opening it in virtual dub. You could also try that program which tells you about video files I forget the name but I an sure someone will know.
they might still work without an extension.

I tried to do one for the OH a while ago (training course she'd signed up to she wanted to watch on the train) and ended up using a 30 day free trail of Camtasia, all my usual go to plugins drew a blank

It's an f4f flash file from what I saw, a popular f2f plugin works for it, download helper (icon is 3 circles in the primary colors) identified it and it was available to save
Should play fine in vlc

Still not had any luck getting this to play. Renamed to f4f / f4v, tried downloading a f4v player, and tried vlc - no luck with playback. Can anyone else try and download this and post a link?
It might be a weird encryption... anyway, I did a screen cap, cropped and encoded it to High x264 with a CRF of 20, so hopefully its ok for you... I am guessing it's fine to post such old footage for personal/non-commercial use. :S Anyway, grab it and I am going to take it off.

Let me get home mate. I can use MSI Afterburner's OSD and record the video and then upload it for you.
You can also use FRAPS in the meantime and have a go.

Thanks for the help all, completely didn't think of using a video capture tool. Downloaded AETAaAS's link so that should sort it for me. Cheers![]()
One other thing you could try if you are feeling curious is to try accessing the page with your user agent set as an android/iphone. Some sites will serve up plain MP4s if the user is on a mobile. Just get the file path from the request headers.
Would have tried for you, but don't want to rock the company proxy boat with streaming videos.
Probably too much faffing if you've managed to cap it though.
