    Little help :/

Ok so tonight I was out having a good time. The story goes, i've just moved to england from guernsey so there's basically no crime in guernsey.

Tonight i was out at the freshers ball and a girl i had previously spoke too who's also from the channel islands was there and she wanted my number just to chat. So i was giving her my number and then some guy barges in and tells me he's going to beat the crap out of me because i was taking advantage of her. I apologised to him and said "sorry mate, no harm intended, i would never think of that she's just a friend" and he just said "yeh no probs mate that's cool" and shook my hand and walked off.

I chatted to her some more but whilst i was doing that he was telling the bouncers that i had gone for him and to chuck me out, fortunately they didn't take any notice.

So i come home and and text her saying "sorry if i caused any trouble, didn't mean to cause any harm, i hope you had a good night x" to which i got a phone call from her phone. It was the same guy who had a go at me, he then went on to say "i'm going to f***ing kill you, i'm going to stab you, you hear me? you're dead mate, i'm going to f***ing kill you!"

What should I do?! I've never been threatened in my life, that would never happen back at home. Any advice or assurance would be seriously appreciated as i'm shaking like hell here 'cause i'm so scared

Contact the police. They won't do sod all, but at least it'll be on record that you received a threatening call from him in the event that anything does happen. Failing that, make friends with the biggest guys at your Uni and be seen walking around with them...

To be fair its 99.99% certain to be an idle drunken threat that he won't remember in the morning, if it makes you feel safer phone the police but they'll do sod all tbh

Yeh that's the problem. But even so, if he does remember it and is still in the same state of mind about it when he's sober then it wouldn't be so good :/ He wasn't that drunk tbh.

Well you could phone the police but they have been known to do nothing

I wouldnt worry though the guy sounds like a jerk
99% sure that this guy is just lyeing and if he wants to "kill" you then id go round and take the fight to him
Plus unless hes mentally unstable he cant just be pissed off for ever with the intention to kill you

all i can say is ignore him or kick the living **** out of him

He's threatening to kill you for speaking to a girl......tell him to get a f**kin life and walk away with a smug grin on your face, or just laugh at him....the guy is an insecure barstuard and thats probably the only female he's ever spoken too. If he does lay a finger on you either kick the living ****e outta him or go straight to the police. I wouldn't worry about it TBH

Cheers for the reassurance guys, i think i'm going to go and find him and pay a little visit. After all, if i had proof i could just report him to the chancellor and see what he would have to say about a dear little student from his university
