I loved Monty Python back when I was a teenager. Now? Like a TV series that goes past season 5, there is a natural been-there-done-that to pretty much anything, and the glory days can't be recreated. Cashing in on nostalgia.
No kidding! Take that reunion tour anyone? Rolling Stones/Status Quo/(insert suitable other) Farewell Tour (no really, this IS the final farewell tour, the last farewell tour was just the farewell warm-up tour). Re-launching the Rubik cube, space-hopper and chopper?
Nostalgia sells.

I went to see one of John Cleese's Alimony Tour shows. Quite frankly, I was happy to pay the money just to be in the same room as him.
It was epic and I was nervous before he came on stage. I don't have many heroes, but he's one and Python were extremely important to me and my sense of humour.
Good luck to them, I think this is great news and I hope it makes them a lot of money!
Dear Lord.
But wait, I'm prepared to admit it if you can quote some MPFC humour that makes me laugh. To help, I'll admit that the lisping 'Biggus Dickus' sketch did make me snigger.
ps I just googled the 25 'funniest' Python lines and gave up after No 6. It was like being trapped in a Groundhog Day of spoilt kid middle class tedium.
