    Am I unlucky

    When it comes to buses?

Last night, on the way home from work, the bus I was on smashed into a car. Approaching a junction, the driver of the car seemed to misjudge how far the bus was from the junction. He started turning only for the bus to crash into the front side of the car. The engine block was stoved in and the bus front was mangled. There was glass and carnage everywhere. Of course this had to happen on rush hour during on a really busy junction. There were cars and people milling everywhere. With luck, the boys in black were up the road and quickly called in ambulances, fire engines, et al. Thankfully, people involved were all unhurt. With a few shaken beings, a broom and a few coppers, things slowly returned to normal.

For me this is the 6th bus crash I've been in. Should I get a car or shall I carry on with the buses?

If I was you I'd either avoid buses and use trains etc or definately get a car

I was fine, thanks for asking. Though the first thing I did say afterwards was "Not again!"

Actually i have been with different bus operators, so I am not safe anywhere

At least you get buses! The buses I try to get are either always at least 40 minutes late or don't show up at all!

I have to wait for a bus at 7.50am for uni which starts at 9am. It's a 20 bloody minute bus journey.

When this happened in Liverpool, the police had to stop people trying to get on the bus after it crashed... (Oooh me neck). Apparently in the end they said anyone without a current ticket would be nicked... Half the bus got off.

PS... Glad your OK mate, but please avoid trains

That was your 6th bus crash?!

That seems like a very high amount of bus crashes to have been involved in, maybe you are unlucky but if you've walked away from each one then maybe you're not.

I try to go by the view of not clogging up the roads and wasting fuel any more than is needed. So I take the bus. I get up, a nice stroll to the bus stop and when I get into town its a nice stroll to work. No car needed, no fuel costs etc.

    Obviously it has its flaws
Most of my crashes happened when I was at school and uni.

Thought it had ended - Obviously not...

Some of the crashes were quite funny in hindsite. One made the local papers.

i just got back from mexico and the buses there are mental.

U get on and before you evne give him your money, hes pulled out into traffic and is flooring it to the next stop.
At one point, 2 buses had a drag race away from a set of traffic lights.........it was like something out of fast n furious
