What say you good HEXITES ?
For me, it is to try and improve my memory, maintain my diary, and play my drum EVERY day no matter what. All good therapy I'm told
I'd completely forgotten about this malarkey. Hmm. I'm going to say more exercise - make sure I do at least 40km of stationary cycling per week, and more writing - make sure I do at least 5,000 words of writing per week.
I don't expect to achieve either, but we'll see.
1920x1200 times two.
Sorry, had to
Not resolutions as such, just general goals. 2014 should be the year I get my finances in order, which means me and the family will be able to relax more and be able to have more nice times. There should also be more chances for me and the wife to get away and spend some valuable time together without the kids (as wonderful as they are, you need time with just adults too).
Planning to get the rest of the house re-decorated and the garden in order. Every time we complete one project it becomes easier with practise... but the list of jobs also increases exponentially

Probably get fitter, sitting behind a desk all the time isn't very good for me. Also try and get a bit more fishing done.

Would say quit smoking but done that for 3 months now...
Probably enjoy the year more, spend more time with the friends that matter. With new home/job not had much time for other things
I've got a good record of sticking to my resolutions over the past few years. Nothing huge, just mainly cutting sugar out of my food and drinks as much as I can.
This year I've got a few things I want to do, so my list is:
1. Get my eyes sorted (been too long since my last test and current specs aren't doing the job any more)
2. Properly insulate my roof
3. Finish tiling the bathroom
4. Finish some personal web development projects (or do something that'll achieve a modest secondary income)
I've only ever made one New Years Resolution - never make another New Years Resolution.
It's surprising how well I've stuck to it!
To give up less... So someone hand me that beer & pie!

To forget about self-image and always wave back to a child who's waving at a passing car/train etc.

Lose weight and flab
Buy a Seasonic PSU
Not to buy any first generation tech - some on my list at the moment are smart watch; full hd sensibly priced led projector; bone conduction bluetooth headset.
Nearly failed just now when I got an email about a very sexy Pebble Steel - but after failing to spot a single coloured photo showing off the "TRI-COLOR LED" I managed to calm my excitement - maybe when you drop the u you drop the hew?
Don't really tend to make resolutions, but there are a couple of things I'm aiming to do:
- Get back into playing the piano
- Start to properly learn a language
- Get back into some kind of exercise regime (whether that be playing sports, cycling etc)
Don't know if you've ever tried it before, but last year I started climbing and bouldering (lower walls, big crash mats, no ropes!), and it's the first thing I've found that has got me exercising (for it's own sake rather than as a means of transportation, anyway) voluntarily on a regular basis. Really good fun, there's always a new challenge to be found, and surprising social if you can persuade other people to come along.
