Recommend a good photo storage site

I got like ~4GB+ of screenshots (MMO) that I want to upload. Criteria for site:

    1. Is well known (ie doesnt go bankrupt in a year)
    2. Easy viewing/sharing of albums
    3. Easy to categorize
    4. Has a large storage capacity
    5. Free lol
    6. Mass upload option (like select folder and its contents and create the same directory structure) - dropbox like.

    7. Hotlinking/bandwidth is not an issue. Just need storage and occasional retrieval/viewing.

Skydrive is 7GB, but for a year apparently. Cant make out that part.
The service offers 7 GB of free storage for new users and, for one year, an additional 3 GB of free storage to students
Google Drive testing atm, 6) seems to be a problem

Tencent cant trust that it will last long lol.

Photobucket and Flickr have a monthly upload limit and dont offer the right capacity anyway. Dropbox has capacity problem too (2GB only).

SkyDrive is 7gb, but if you are a student, you get 3gb more so 10GB. It is 7 gb for ever.

However If you have a windows 8 machine you will get more SkyDrive space for life.

Imgur has a different method, so long as it gets viewed every 6 months, it exists for ever!

I upped 8gb of wedding photos to flikr in a day and it fits all your other criteria - unless they've introduced bandwidth limits in the last couple of months?

Is that so? I have some personal photos to upload too, I guess Ill go with Flickr for that.

Decided to use SkyDrive, it has a Dropbox like client, so made a skydrive folder and put all the screen shots in it.

I read about the upload cap from here:

    http://www.steves-digicams.com/knowl...omparison.html

With a standard account, Flickr allows for 100 MB photo upload per month along with 2 videos. Flickr Pro allows unlimited uploads and storage as well as statistical analysis of the traffic your photographs have been receiving. A standard Photobucket account offers 10 GB uploads a month with a total storage capacity of 500 MB. Photobucket Pro offers nearly the same features, including unlimited uploads and storage.
    Could be an old review.

Re: Recommend a good photo storage site

    Hi!

Of course it is hard to find the best cloud storage for your specific needs. Based on what you listed you might want to try out MEGA which has 50GB free storage, local encryption and much more. 50GB is quite unique in the cloud storage field and would leave a lot of room for more screenshots. The only criteria it doesn't meet is that it is quite new and thus doesn't have a huge track record (but quite a famous history because of its founder Kimdotcom).

    Hope that helps.

1TB Free with Flickr and even with a free account it allows you to upload full rez photos.

What’s the difference between a Free, Ad Free, and Doublr account?

There are three kinds of accounts to choose from at Flickr, and all of them are awesome in their own way.

    Free:

1 Terabyte of photo and video storage
Upload photos of up to 200MB per photo
Upload 1080p HD videos of up to 1GB each
Video playback of up to 3 minutes each
Upload and download in full original quality
    Unlimited monthly bandwidth

    Ad Free:
    $49.99 per year
All the benefits of a free account
No ads in your browsing experience

    Doublr:
    $499.99 per year
2 Terabytes of photo and video space
All the benefits of a free account

I would have suggested Imgur depending on your usage but I would hold off for a bit on that plan:
