    The real Christmas thread

Several imposters have already posted Christmas related threads. This is not on.

I am constantly reminded by fellow members that I only work one day of the year and today's the day so......MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!

    My work here is done.

How do you survive rest of the year if you only work one day ?
How much do you get paid per hour ?
    Do you pay your taxes?
What is your Tax code ?
Do you claim benefits for the rest of the year - if yes, which benefits do you claim ?

    Re: The real Christmas thread

But Radio 4 spent a large part of the festive season claiming you weren't real.

I'm relieved to see that this isn't the case.

    PS Where's my Ferrari?

    Re: The real Christmas thread

Radio 4, what do they know about magically, mystical, mysterious me?

Your Ferrari is in Italy. You're gonna have to be a much nicer boy in 2014 to get it brought here.

    Re: The real Christmas thread

when are you going to acknowledge the rights of elfs and grant them fair pay and flexible working, a pension and health benefits in line with other developed countries? Scandinavian law demands it! Sweat shops are not ok. furthermore when will you acknowledge that you are a key driver in the over commercialisation of Christmas espousing the desire for consumeristic acquisition of property at the expense of community and social interaction? Then there's the environmental impact of all that packaging, wrapping paper and twine.... frankly how Greenpeace and the wildlife foundations aren't hammering down your door I don't know. still at least the pending class action of unfulfilled present requests will help bring some balance back to proceedings. Too many folk each year don't receive what they asked for. In this day and age of digital record keeping and real time inventory tracking there's no excuse for it.

I think the public have a right to know.
Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?
