    alternatives to ebay ?

    hi there

im looking to sell some computer parts one of them is still brand new and unopened however the other one is used. I was just wandering if there were better places to sell hardware than ebay that will get give me a fair price. i looked at cex but the value they were offering was too low

Any suggestions would be helpful, if there aren't any then ebay it is

Classified section in your local paper. Car boot sale. Local uni. Local market. Tech forums often have for sale sections for regular contributing members, like Hexus (see pinned post in this section).

Could try Amazon to they're not too bad; least they tell you up front how much they would take.

Have a cash generator near you? They have a website to which you can place ads onto too.
"If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0" ||| "I'm not interrupting you, I'm putting our conversation in full-duplex mode" ||| "The problem with UDP joke: I don't get half of them"
"I’d tell you the one about the CIDR block, but you’re too classy" ||| "There’s no place like 127.0.0.1" ||| "I made an NTP joke once. The timing was perfect."
"In high society, TCP is more welcome than UDP. At least it knows a proper handshake."

    Re: alternatives to ebay ?

Rival online auction sites are a thing of the past in this country now since eBay killed them all.

As others have said, local classifieds are probably your best bet but personally I can't be bothered with the hassle and usually just use eBay or CEX.

You could also possibly try the BST section on a site like HUKD but be prepared for a lot of haggling.

Another nasty site. I bought a Sword from there and the seller didn't have it but didn't tell me. After much haggling, finally, they told me they don't have it in stock and they are not sure of an ETA. I asked for a refund and they charged me a restocking fee of a certain %. I complained to ebid and never heard back!
