I watched it live last year. Was in a Hostel in Toronto at the time (Planet Traveller) and I stuck it on in the common room... every time someone walked in "Hmmm whats this..." "This guy is going to jump from space, live" "Wow" - Didn't take long for the room to be full
That moment he stepped off the ledge... man that was edge of seat stuff.
From what I remember from the live stream (haven't watched the documentary) they believed he passed out as he started spinning & they couldn't get contact out of him however later in interviews he said he didn't. I also remember something about the suit auto deployed a guiding small chute which evened him out and slowed him a little but maybe I'm wrong about that?
