Angry Is this legal? Pyramid scam

    http://www.happy12.co.uk/terms.htm

Read the terms - basically the guy can take your money and run at any time. The guy will add you to the 'free gift' list if you pay £25 for a mobile phone signal booster, the same as the one's you can buy 5 of for 99p off eBay (e.g.: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...&rd=1&tc=photo).

So basically I want to know if this is illegal - is there a law about overcharging excessively for something if this is what he's using to get around it being a pyramid scheme?

This kind of thing gets me very very angry!

Legal grey area iirc, there's nothing stopping the guy charging what he likes for something. it's pretty much up to the buyer not to fall for it. Where he could get in trouble for is if he hides the charges away in stupid small print, even then if the small print is viewable then you've not got much of a leg to stand on..

The best cure for this sort of scam is education..
