All the IT departments I have been in have poured scorn on meetings in general, and everyone I speak to views the PowerP0int presentation with disdain too.

Training courses with slides I find the worst, when the lecturer just reads off them word for word.... why??
They may as well just sell you a copy of the slides on day 1 and you spend the rest of the time down the pub!

Lucky we take no crap with powe****** at the LSC. Still doesn't make meetings any better, specially when they get hi-jacked by one of the Drones who decides to go off topic for an hour and talk about something only one other person will have any idea about!!!
