Shaving - This may be too late for most. When you are young, you need to shave only once a week. The more you shave in a week, the more beard you will have! I shave only once a week and I hardly grow any beard whatsoever by the end of the week. I use the best - Gillette Fusion gel and Gillette Fusion blades. they are indeed the best. I also do not have stubbles
Deodrants - I wear a white t-short like vest with all my shirts and most deodrants including Lynx leave yellow stains on my vests. I am sticking with Adidas triple action these days but I don't think I have found the best yet
Hair - I go for a Side 3 , top scissors short cut. I spike my front hair with Shockwaves Matte Clay. A mate has recommended Got2b glue. Both are very good and do not cause hair loss like other gels or Brylcream!

Hairdressers - learn to DIY. Saves a lot of time and money. Especially if you grow hair thick/fast like yours truly. Wardrobes with folding mirrors that allow you to see the back of your head are a must though.
Shaving. Bic disposables (sensitive skin type) and Sainsbury's basics shaving foam in the evening, 'leccy shaver in the morning.
Job jobbed.
Got my vasectomy this afternoon, now there's a whole sub-topic of grooming in the 'required preparation'. Razors and the old gentleman tackle should never have to meet.
OK. One and only time to genuinely post a link to this product and reviews:

I'm a little envious here as I have to have a trim every 6 weeks max and the clipper everything just makes me look like a hooligan
Barbers about every 3 weeks for me (should really be 2, but I'm generally lazy) Used to be clippers once a week, but swmbo got sick of me looking like a convict. TBH its a pain, even though its not that expensive my barber of choice is generally a 20 minute wait, and all the other places cut it craply or want an arm and a leg for the privilege.
I used to take that commonly spread word of wisdom as fact, but I am not convinced anymore. I reckon it's really all genetics. I remember back in school, some of my Middle-East friends would be able to grow a moustache very early during puberty. Whereas I've been shaving everyday for a long, long time now as I don't like stubbles, yet if I really wanted to grow a moustache to fully cover the skin, I'd probably have to wait half a year. A beard? Forget it. I wonder if the common wisdom do not have it backward. People who grow facial hair faster needs to shave more often than those who simply do not grow facial hair as fast, giving an impression that it's the shaving that is causing the growth.

If your after safety and straight razor shaving then check out this forum, plenty of good thread on there.
I've never really been the well groomed type (as h3xu5 Lanners can probably attest...)
But more recently I've between making more regular trips to a hair dresser, still haven't really had any drive to not look like a hobo in turns of facial hair, although I did finally cave in January and buy a trimmer to replace the scissors I'd been using for a few years...
