It's a Nitro HPi Savage SS. With a Haobao Hyper .21 engine in it.

I'll try and get some vids of it in action when I get it

It cost me £250 delivered. And the seller even absorbed the PayPal fee's!

Should be arriving Tues... so be prepared for a rant about how it broke within 5 minutes! haha...

I'm after loads of spare parts / tools etc now.. not too sure where to start though.

My brother in law is really into this stuff now, Has a T-Maxx, a few scooby's a Audi TT Tamiya tarmac and a Schmacher something or other, cant remember offf the top of my head, he says to me though that next on his list is the new Traxxas truck tbh it looks stunning,

Have driven a savage, fun bit of kit though, enjoy!

They are amazing - I love em - wouldn't mind one myself (might pick one up in the states init!)

I would like to get a remote heli - not sure where to start, has to be petrol though - I have loads of land nearby to fly on

I think I share the same passion as you! They are pretty awesome bits of kit.

I'd be careful of picking one up in America, they run different frequencies, some of which are illegal.

I used to R/C dont know what happened though. winter scared me indoors i think and i never ventured back. I still love the things though you can get countless hours of fun tearing round the garden or in the park nitro models make nuff noise tho.

try not to slam the throttle down too hard on the first go, a .21 engine will fly.

didn't someone post a mini movie of them thrashing around an r/c thing similar to the one lead head just bought? forget who's it was but it was pretty nuts if I remember...jumping off some high drop offs, landing on its roof, bouncing and landing right-way up again, then belting off and round a field to come back to the jump again...with more glorious air being taken.
    quite fun to watch

Dont worry Hexites... in the next few weeks we'll have footage on a BMX dirt track near where I live and I'll get it edited to a little movie for you all.
