*Slight Spoiler for The Long Good Friday*

Long Good Friday, one of my fave's. That scene at the end when a young Pierce Brosnan comes up from the front seat with a gun, and the scene fixes on Bob's face as first, he is working out what is happening, and then goes through a whole range of emotions, before finally accepting his fate, all without muttering a single word. Utterly brilliant.

    RIP Bob

    re: RIP Bob Hoskins

I loved Bob Hoskins, he could turn his hand to anything, from the acting he put into Roger Rabbit working with invisible characters, to playing a Gangster in Danny the Dog (Unleased with Jet Li & Morgan Freeman) and the manager in Pink Floyds The Wall to name a few.

Amazing actor, he will be missed

Completely agree, always thought he was a good all round actor, definitely out of all the celebs one of my favourites.

    Re: RIP Bob Hoskins

This news is sad isn't it?

Bob Hoskins had a fantastic skill and weirdly the stuff Feral talks about may have been some of his best because I've never seen anyone act against an invisible character quite like it!

He certainly made me smile and alpo made me unsettled too

A talent lost to the world and I'll miss him

Cheers bob....if I may call you that.
