Happy birthday chap.. I think! Bit cryptic, if I'm honest!

You're a proper oldie now, eh? Got your pension sorted, yet? Won't be long 'til you're queued at the Post Office every Thursday morning, eh?

Its strange, when I was 15, the people who were 20 had wives and kids, and were proper adults.

When I was 20, it was the people who were 25 who had wives, kids and the like. Now I'm 23... and it look like its the people who are 30 who are proper adults, and anyone younger is still having an extended childhood.

I suppose its because, now, 25 is nowt, where as, in Roman times, 25 was an old man. Now, if I was 15 in Roman times, this post would make sense.

    I understand mate

I'm 26 now... damn it flies and its true what you have said about people when we we're younger. I remember when I was about 14 and my 19 year old cousin got married. Now when I was 19 I was like " not a chance..."

It seems we all just want to have fun and not bother about settling down till later in life

Time is a funny thing, look back at it and it passed really quickly, but when you look forward at it, it seems so far away.

    "Ohhhnoooooooo"

Anyhow, welcome to the club boyo. About 1/3 of you life is spent. The next 1/3 will be spent looking after kids and attending dinner parties. The last 1/3 will see you being cared for in a home with plastic underpants

    - back on topic...it being my birthday and all, and although not really an official present, in order that I can use some programs for my data crunching [scientific] work I've been given full admin rights for the network woohoo!
I mean, I'll use them responsibly and not bring the place down from the inside...

Yeah, I think he's a bit funny too... that's how I read it as well. Still, nowt wrong with that these days.

Explains the Lionel Ritchie thing as well... seems he has a thing for men of colour, or just people who can, well, still hit the high notes, shall we say?
