    This cracked me up!

    Good old courier!

    I had a package turn up over the weekend, and my instructions were to leave the parcel around the back in the garage I had left open for that very purpose. I arrived home and checked my garage before going in the house…. Nothing there, so I let myself in my house and saw a courier note it read……

    “package in the wheelie bin – cheers Dave”

    To top this off it had been ‘bin collection day’ and had the courier been an hour or two earlier or the binguys late (which they often are) my parcel would have been long gone! But the “package in the wheelie bin – cheers Dave” cracked me up so much that I can’t be bother to complain

    parcel force is probably the only profession in the country that actually pays people to ring doorbells and then run away before the occupant actually gets to the door.

    Yeah! "On your marks, get set, DOORBELL! And they're off! No chance of getting that parcel now, he's halfway down the street..."

    i hate the post office......parcel force or whoever it is.

    if i am of for a day, waiting for a delivery, it doesnt come, im in all day and can always hear when the door goes.

    Next day, back at work, i return home from work and there is a stupid thing thru door saying that they tried to deliver but no one was in. Thing that pissed me of is that the date was of the day before, when i was in. They couldnt put that thru the door same day

    grrrrrr

    Phone the company and claim the binman did come That way the delivery company have to buy you a second one....
    </evil>

    OK - not the honest right thing to do - but makes you think there should be a penalty for them not living up to the contract.
    Now go away before I taunt you a second time.
