    Hexus/ Fractal - a complaint

    Way back on the 2nd December last year there was a competition arranged by Hexus and Fractal for an Arc Mini R2 case. On the 7th April, I, along with four others, was informed by DR that I had won one of the cases. I was very pleased as you may imagine as I rarely win competitions! However, as of today, the 31st May, almost seven months after the competition was launched, nearly two months after being informed of the win, only one of the five winners has received the case that we have won.

    While I appreciate that it's free, I do think that it's a pretty shambolic state of affairs that prize winners have been left without prizes and have had no further communication from either Hexus or Fractal as to what is going on. To add insult to injury when (if!) we receive our cases we have been asked to provide a review of the case. Currently service is hovering around the 0/10 mark... It says a lot that I'm having to write this complaint on a public forum.

    So. Can anyone at Hexus and/ or Fractal let us know where our cases are? Or was the competition just a free ad for Fractal with no intention of giving any prizes out?

    Hey Bluecube, at the end of the day it's a free thing, done by the manufacturer in association with Hexus.

    I doubt there is much that Hexus can do when they are stuck waiting on the manufacturer.

    I think we can all sympathise that it might be messing you around a bit, if you were planning a new build, you wouldn't want to know if you want to waste your cash on a case or not etc. However... If you don't want to wait any longer I'll wait instead for you

    Maybe Hexus can give you a free Coffee Mug for the delay
    throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)

    While you are there, can you please tell them to start making a HP Microserver like case. It needs to have 6 hot swappable 3.5" SATA bays, be as small as possible and be stackable?!

    Simple solution, take 5 cases, bitch slap the reps. problem solved. (get hexus.tv to film it)

    You make me laugh. You would have blown a fuse by now if your prize hadn't turned up. The fact is it's poor form for winners to be still waiting and they have been very patient. Thankfully, the Boss is on the case even though he's half way across the World.
