    my cable modem went dead about 5 minutes ago for about 30 seconds....I knew they were upgrading...but can't notice a speed diff.

    Where can I do a speed test?

    lol upgrade my arse, they have done something silly up my neck of the woods, seems both myself and the neighbours have lost their 1.5meg lines and all running on 512 lines, BY never get an upgrade right in our area, and I cant get an answer from their 2 hour queue for the broadband support :/

    I wasn't uploading anything... I think that's just other activity (irc, messenger, etc). I was downloading a file over FTP to test the speed. My Upload is about 40-45k.

    Karoo have given me 750/288 and I'm quite happy with that

    I do upload stuff every so often, so a semi-decnt upload rate is welcomed.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Just checked to see if my 3mb had gone to 4mb, and it came up as 2mb, so instead of gaining a meg, I've lost one.

    Fiddlesticks!

    Must just be slow at the mo, and my upgrade aint been done yet.

    Ah well.
