Hmm, i've not lost my voice, it's just decided not to work properly at all.
Headed to college on Tuesday morning with a bit of a cough, and from what i heard there is something going round, by lunch time i felt groggy and light headed so i went home.
I still felt ****ty in the evening, but i only just got a new girlfriend and had previously arranged to be meething her that night, and going to the pub with a group of people i know. And did so, however, some time between when i went home from college and when i went out in the evening my voice had decided it wasn't going to be normal anymore.
Everything that left my mouth was about 10 times deeper than usual, and i could not hit anything even remotely high (Trying to do a little britain impression on the way to the pub proved this), it just came out as a whisper.
I put up with it throughout the night, went to the pub, and then clubbing until i got home at 3am when i could barely talk at all.
I feel fine now (No illness), but my voice is even worse, i can barely speak, the words will just sound like air leaving my mouth, and i have to "speak up" for my voicebox to kick in, and even then i sound like Barry White or something.
Don't hit me with the voice breaking lark i've already had people laugh at me with that one What can i do to help cure this? I started drinking water last night, and it stops the need to cough, which i still have. I noticed if i dont talk for around 20 minutes, and then i do, the first 3 or 4 words that leave my mouth will be heard in my normal voice, but then the ****tyness kicks in....
Anyone have any ideas? Or advice on what i should or shouldn't be doing?
