    What kind of problem?

Could it be something like a personal organiser to keep people er.... organised?

That should be fairly easy to implement

for my GCSE coursework i set myself the task of admining my own rally club. So pick a hobby or something your good at, and you'll be able to do more from it and get a better grade. So you could have a database with all the users on an online forum etc.. just a thought

It must manipulate a data base reading from it, writing to it and editing entries. it has to be a full system as well. I was asked in the holiday to do a faceparty style site, users sign up, lots of polls, a forum and member search. and Im doing it in PHP. I asked teach if that was a good idea to use for my course work and he said it was the kind of thing they wanted. So pick summit fun like that. Or like Russ said. Working with something you are really interested with. That way you wont get bored.

Arguing with an administrator is like kicking God in the nuts

yeah, it can be any problem, that can be solved by a program we have to make, i was personally thinking along the lines of an organiser for something, such as a driving instructor? so he can keep ontop of his lessons, search where to go and if people have paid on his pda or something

still, any ideas would be cool like the rally thing, might do something of that sort

tell ya whats the best idea to do.. go round all your local companys small ones are better like mortgage peeps and all thats lot and ask them if they what a website doing then quote them a nice price not too low and not too high, make sure you have a portfolio. start doing some sites for friends and your favourite things shouldn't take you very long..

then you can do a project and document the lot and get money for it..

i'm doing a timetable for my mum's school (oh the joys), but most of the people in my class are doing it for a relative, or friend or something, mostly so that they can get ideas, and also go speak to them and get an idea of what needs to be done (less thinking on your part )... some of m mates got crappy grades for computing, but i have no idea how, as i got an A, which really confused me as to how no-one else did, cos everyone seemed really confident before the exams, and after :s. oh well...

    just blag something remotely useful
