    New MSN Messenger Beta

    Just been playing about with this http://messenger.msn.com/Beta/Default.aspx

    Great to send little pictures to people. Also has winking (note spelling) which has to be the most annoying thing microsoft has EVER invented.

    Especially good if you have a pen/tablet.

    A lot of cosmetic changes, including new "Billing" options.

    Just got it, look good me thinks. I dont get what billing and winks are tho.

    Seems like not much has changed. Winks are quite good. Billing is for when you buy extra emoticons/themes etc I think.

    I like the new "Media Player" style interface, and the fact that opening up a conversation window with a contact brings up the last messages you sent & received (on that machine).

    Also, the quick menu for emoticons now displays your custom ones, which is nice.

    No more need for Messenger Plus! for me - I only used it for the quick emoticon menu when hitting '('
