o2 (when it was still btcellnet) always used to charge 12p a txt, so it seems the company is going backwards rather than forwards.... however i'm on contract, i get 600 free txts and lots of free minutes, so im not going to complain, cos they just brought the charge for international txts down from 21p to summit like 17p.... a month and a half too late tho :/ i now have a £60 bill due to my holiday :s

Oooh, how do you get 600 texts free a month? The o2 online contract I’m getting is 500 free which was the best I could find.

All the networks just screw u blind if it's pay as you go.
Just because they can't screw £20+ out of you every month they just find another way to rip of the good ol british public.

Trouble is they've got half the population thinking a mobile phone is a necessity which it ain't.. I'm only just turned 40 and can easily remember a time when we all managed perfectly well without a stupid phone going everywhere with me.

Don't get me wrong, for the occasional emergency a mobile is fine, but WTF do kids as young as 5 & 6 need a mobile...crazy.

Still they'll all be moaning when they're older with fried brains and tumours in their heads from the radiation.

Just can't help but feel we've been brainwashed

    End of rant!
