Really?

Often think about if it would be better if products had a longer life span. For example, buying a 980 now, would then allow you to be on the leading edge for say 3 or 4 years. Of course it means innovation may slow down as competition wouldn't be as much of an issue, it wouldn't be about tactical release times, but everyone would know the best components, could purchase it and not be disappointed months down the line with AMD's release or shortly thereafter with Nvidias next offering

There will always be those occasions when someone needs to buy a new card and ends up getting it just before a new launch. At least now we can sort of anticipate when new cards will launch, March seems to be a popular month for early releases and if I'm not mistaken November is popular to catch the holiday season. If you're someone that's planning to buy and can hold on for one of those two months then you might be lucky enough to buy the older tech at a lower price or be first across the line with the new tech.

Mostly I think music. I'm one of those sad individuals who always has music rumbling round in my head.

I was thinking about some music today, it was a classical piece, but I don't know what it's call or who it's by. It was nice though.

I saw an amazing picture at a friend's house yesterday, I wish I could share it with you guys.

The picture was a landscape, it was of a valley taken from a high vantage point and looking down at a river running down from the background. towards the middle of the picture the river divides into two with a largish island in the the middle and then the river reforms as it rounds this island. Just a short distance below this is a big suspension bridge. The scenery looks like lush green jungles and other than the bridge and small amounts of road either side of the bridge there's not a single sign of the landscape being touched by mankind.

I spent a few minutes looking at the picture and couldn't help thinking it would make a great Battlefield 4 map! :help:
