(Hi!)
Damn, the loonies are starting to escape from the HEXUS Cages!!!
Well i thought nobody would be interested in me :D Shelleys been to Uni though, #1 sons moved out, #2 sons gone to Uni. But...i seem to remember that a few people on here liked our last pooch. and it gives me a big happy to say that after four long years there is now the patter of tiny* feet in the place again with another puppy!
:)
* not actually tiny!

Playing at puppy class last night with a pair of GSD sisters that also go, he's coming up 16 weeks old...love him to bits...
:)
OK, they get the HEXUS cute prize 2014!
Hey all, sorry for long delay, hope you are all well :) Have been more lurking, not posting, but couldn't resist. And Thank you! Kiyo has filled a very large hole left by his Great Great Uncle Max ( Yes, he is of the same Elsonway breed line )
More pics!
Me and Kiyo, he was 8 weeks old!

Yello!
Beautiful - and Kiyo's not bad either! (Top pic!) :)
He has grown since that pic was taken, hardly a pup to look at now! Lovely looking dog though!
So you are off to Uni, Shelley?
It's a good camera angle lol. And yes, he is looking less puppy like day by day. He is head and shoulders over most of the pups his age at puppy class, Quite funny when the 'young' pups get to play together and he is galloping about.
Yes I have just completed and graduated from my Fda in early learning and development, now doing the BA (Hons) in early childhood studies. It's only a year on top of the fda, so may as well :)
And just for the 'awwww' factor, Kiyos little sister Fleck at four days old...smallest pup of the litter...

Cutes. So glad you managed to find another to step into Max's boots, I was gutted when I heard he'd passed.
/me wants a doggy, but the combination of living in a tiny flat, working away a lot and having cats makes it impossible at this point.
Thanks, it took a long while to get over loosing Max, and if we hadn't of got Kiyo when we had i don't think we would of had another one :(. But as Shelley says, its a bit special knowing Kiyo is related to Max...and cats...yes!!! Kiyo still being at the bouncy puppy stage is a bit too excitable for them at the moment but i think as soon as Tia gets the chance, she will be all over him just like she was with Max...

Great newsagent! Well done, yes, silly not to finish it off for want of a year. Great achievement!
You should have waited 2 weeks before posting that, then you would have got the HEXUS cute prize for 2015 as well. So tiny curled up inside her mother's paw...:)
Haha!!! :) Bless her though, she went to a dog training friend of my sisters in Henley On Thames (most of the pups went south actually) and last time she was weighed was only half a kilo off the approximate weight she should be for her age...she really came on with a bit of special attention...

And i just cannot stop giggling at this one...one very tired pup yesterday, just like a toddler trying his hardest not to go asleep!!!
Thank you :) it's hard work to do it over a year, but hopefully worth it in the end if I can apply myself. Between a hectic home life and work piling on the pressure with the relocation and development of a brand new nursery, which they have asked my input in designing, it will be a challenging year.
Hi :) well done Shelley, and glad to see the new addition :D
(.. but "great newsagent," peterb?? - is that sort of like Great Scott?)
Thank you Sammy, nice to see you.Hope you are well. Yes, he's awesome to be fair, goes to puppy class, hoping to start obediance training when that is finished. Turning into a lovely chilled out doggy, with his good temperament we are hoping for him to become a PAT dog one day.
That would be cool, such a great scheme. He is beautiful, the scale of him, is just so incredible - not having owned dogs & being used to the scale of growth, I can't take in something being that size at 8 weeks. Amazing. How are the other cats by the way, ok I hope? :) I remember that photo with Tia (I think), hope she does find a friend in Kiyo.
I have a large drawer full of old carrier bags. I have a feeling you may need them more than me in the coming weeks. It won't be so much walkies as standy-bendy-downies with that many to clear up after!
Tia's getting there with him...he's still a little bouncy but i swear to god someday soon she will go and curl up with him. Oh and this was him earlier on today, Tia was sat on the dining table just watching him, him watching her...and fell asleep like it...

Please note he looks a little soggy as he had just perfected his latest trick, jumping into the shower with Shelley : insert facepalm smiley here :
:D
Day i didn't want to do #1 over with, one more to go...
:(
