Steve Jobs Kinetic Typography Animation

In commemoration of what would have been Steve Jobs' 60th birthday today, I created a kinetic typography animation of the infamous 'Here's to the crazy ones' Apple advert from the 1990s. I used the Apple style for inspiration. Hope any Mac fans here like it!

Whilst my personal view of Apple as a business in the modern era is less than complementary, there was a time when they were still the mavericks seeking to give the consumer real life changing benefits. With that I am minded one of my few favourite quotes by Steve Jobs.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.”

I won't sully this thread by posting my opinion of Apple, however I will say that I do see how the Mac is a life changing product and will also say that in my opinion Steve Jobs was one of the most important people in technology over the last few of decades, I hope his legacy lives on and that he is remembered in a positive light for many generations to come.

Even if youre not a fan of Macs I think you can appreciate the sentiment in the speech, and is hard to deny the impact he had!
