    Unhappy Always backup...

I had been doing my programming assignment for college over the weekend at home, saving it all to my flash drive so i can bring it all to college easily. I bring it to college but i'm unable to copy it over to my college workspace because the crappy ammount of space they give us is already full.

I head off to my next lesson accidently leaving my flash drive in the previous room. After about an hour i realise, go back, it's gone...

After speaking to lots of people i find out that there was someone in there after me "fiddling with the flash drive", and i have until Wednesday to either find the flash drive or re-do to complete write up of my program

    So basically, I'm ****ed...
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

Always backup you're damn right. But still, you did it over the weekend, you have two days still. It's not a complete disaster. You have learnt many lessons here, backup, streamline you're programs, don't forget things . What was the programs function?
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

I have two days to re-do the work i lost and to finnish the rest of it

The program was a word processor and a calculator made in Visual Basic Pretty simple stuff, next project is 'progamming with databases'.
