LOL thats the funniest thing i've ever heard, Deckard putting people down, thats like saying the Pope is Jewish. Deckard i'd say is one of the most supportive mod's on here, runs a great cookery forum, and provides great support and practical advice.

But he is also a Mod, and therefore has a responsibility to support and help run these forums. I don't know what happened to Jimmy Little, but i have to say that these attempts at disrupting the forum are not on.

Now im hoping this doesent get worse like lets say **cough**cough**OCUK**cough**cough** because if it does i dont think i would want to be here either.

This makes me laugh too, since when has Hexus ever been like OCUK?, I can't remember a ban previous to this one?. I trust the Mod's here, and i've had reason to feel agrieved before, but one simply PM to the mod who i felt was being a bit harsh with me soon sorted that out, and the problem was resolved.

I feel that you don't get banned on here without good reason, and even if Jimmy Little wasn't banned before this thread, I would say that this thread is reason enough.

The problem is that this thread doesn't achieve anything positive for Jimmy, it simply does one thing, and that is UNIFY the moderators and David into action, its like a challenge to authority and i'd expect it to get stamped out.

I hope not too many people take offence at this as we all are individuals, and i'm here for the community not just my friends.

I can't see any benefit in leaving this thread open TBH, it'll just cause more ill feeling. On the face of it, banning Jimmy for a week for posting an affilate link, and then banning him permanently when he asked to be re-instated is harsh- BUT I haven't seen the text of any of the PMs that were sent and neither (apparently) has anyone other than David, Jimmy or Tank, so it's a bit pointless commenting.

Maybe David would like to come in here and put his side of the story, or maybe not....at the end of the day he owns these forums, and it's up to him how he runs them<shrugs>. I've benefitted from these forums and I like to think I've given something back to the community in return, but I accept that I don't have any say in the way they are run.
