Nepal Earthquakes - Informed Aid

What with the double earthquake in Nepal a lot of attention is on Nepal right now and a lot of people are wondering how they can help.

I'm no expert on the subject but I've heard it generally confirmed that cash donations to reputable and efficient charities is generally the best way to go. On top of that, it's increasingly becoming common knowledge that not all charities (no matter how sincere) are equally efficient - and people tend to want to see their money do the most good.

To that end I thought I'd throw out a couple of links to websites dedicated to evaluating the efficiency of charities with the goal of helping people make more informed choices.

It is a good article but just in case someone needs a tldr - it promotes two main points,
1, find an efficient charity worth giving to
2, give without earmarking the funds

Oh and I suppose point three is Give! :)
