Ceefax died when they stopped broadcasting BBC B/Master code on it for people with the teletext adapter.

Ah fond memories.

In fact, I think my first experience of 'programming' (more like webpage writing I guess) was creating content using the ceefax system - I re-wrote some of the fighting fantasy adventures into the same format so they became interactive books. Worked great.

I have good memories of playing Bamboozled when I was younger, although that was probably Teletext...
