    Well I think it could either be a christmas tree, a spikey plant or some REALLY random objects zoomed up really close.

    After thinking about it, I've come up with this (which has no answer!)

    I could be wrong, but I believe you're a student of some sort who studies a science (chemistry/biology?). Did you just plonk something under a microscope and come up with this?

    If I'm right, then I don't think we have a chance of getting it right .


    EDIT - sorry, we posted at the same time, it couldn't be that, because you said no to my suggestion of an image zoomed close.

    well, you're half way there, I'm not a biology student just into my photography...
    [though i do have a masters in physiology]
    ...oh and it is quite close up...

    Erm OK, so it's been taken with a camera close up (not with a microscope).

    It looks like some sort of nature to me - like a plant. So is it moss?

    cool eh? the real one is better quality but this version isn't bad. I'v had people guessing for days on that!

    WOW - that's probably the 1st time I've actually got one of these things!!!!!

    I just thought sort of literally about what a camera could take close up without it getting too dark. Zooming the image out helped a bit too .
