This year we're having a 3 day marathon party session in my house and then moving down to a friends house to just chill, relax and celebrate 2005 in style really

I just hope it doesn't snow too bad as 2/3 years ago we had to drag a sledge over 2 miles with 4 crates of grolsh on them from Tesco.

EDIT : Reason - Its better to chill with 30 friends in a nice ambient atmosphere and drink non-watered down gnats urine i.e fosters rather than be in a club paying over the odds for drinks, taxis and access to clubs and bars.

Bristol gets a bit bad at new year - everyone heads into town - pays a fortune to get in a **** club and then fights break out. Plus its then 40 quid to get home via taxi

local pubs in bristol are quality tho - bound ot have fun then!

i dont live near there any more tho so im going to my gf's mums new years party

I am going out to a bar with four mates it is costing £40 per head this includes free drinks all night and food. My mate went last year and left at 4am bladdered but happy. Very limited guest list too, only 40 people going.

New years eve is a bit overrated if you go out - costs a bomb watered down drinks, ram packed and something always goes wrong.

I like house party type things

I do not usually like New Years much but this bar thing I am going to with limited invites and free booze all night and food sounds very good, bit like a private party really.

Pub, pub, pub, pub, Waterfront (club)

    Quite simple really.

Waterfront has an rock/alt night on and its only £8.50 tickets. Plenty of cheap pubs in the city that wont be charging for entry too Only a 20mins walk home, and as my mates live near me its a fun/drunken walk.

taking a fine lady to a drunken house party, plenty of booze, illegal materials and heavy metal, how a party should be

last year was a blast, even tho to most of the world it may seem sad, i went to an all night lan with 10 of my closest mates, we were downing a shot of vodka every 10 seconds in the last minute of 2003, then we had a game of Q3...more of a challenge to see who could still operate a keyboard than pwn some ass, good fun it was hoping this year to be better tho
