    website Legislation

Does anyone know where I can find advice on what the limitaions, if any, are on a UK based adult website, ie what we are allowed to display, what can be advertised etc. The new website to be set up must conform with all legislation, but with some of the sites, I have seen, there appears to be no limit at all

You mean a porn site? AFAIK the only stuff that is considered illegal is child porn. And you have to have disclaimers saying if you're under 18 you're not to enter, bla bla.
I could be wrong though. Feel free to correct me someone.

Not a porn site. It's the same as what howard said really. You don't really need disclaimers if no nudity is shown as I don't think it will be but it's better to be on the safe side.

afaik as long as its concenting adults (human adults) then you can post most stuff. not too sure on the fine lines between fetish and pure torture but again concenting is the main word.
