    seems not...

i think they should be put up on the gallows with virus writers. It's such a shame that these people are so selfish that they would think of doing something like that.

but then, as we've seen, they are the minority.

I hope the FBI catch some of these people. AND LOCK THEM UP

I find that saddening to read, really. It's just sick thinking about deliberately making a profit out of something like that :/

Yep, that story really shocked me, and what shocked me more was the fact that a 40 year-old was responsible. When the story first broke I assumed it was some bored 14 year-old, but 40?! Sad, very sad indeed.

With no offence meant, they were from an aol.com address, surely that would have rang some bells in one's head?

That just made it all the more surprising. A middle-aged AOL user who knows how to send e-mail? Impossible!

Not as bad as my sister who's 18yrs old not being able to send one, despite a PC in her room all ready to go...

That is indeed shocking. I like to think that if it was a bored 14 year old, maybe they do not understand what those familys must be going through right now. But a 40 year old would, I mean, by 40, just about everyone has lost a few members of there family. The bloke that done that, deliberatly meant to cause those people pain, I can not accept that any 40 year old - anyone but a young child, would do that for fun.
