Incidentally, this is a good way of ensuring junk mail firms with freepost reply addresses stop sending things to you. Not only the money that gets them - they simply don't have enough room for all the broken fridges you can send them...

yup just write that down, they will see the "freepost" part, and will charge them, not you.

If you pay the postage then they have more money to spend on charitable things, but you can send it for free easily enough.
