Yes.
Probably make the near point closer, so good for very close work, but not for distance vision.

How would they improve on already-perfect 20/20 vision?
The only thing they could do is perhaps lessen the extent to which the eye muscles stretch for normal focussing, but again that may atrophy the muscles and lead to deteriorating vision.
But how are they powered, anyway?
I can't see (har har) yet another rechargable device taking off in the market so well, especially as it's likely to be quite big and bulky compared with normal glasses...

If you dsid had auto focusing people who have glasses wouldn't be able to notice their vision getting worse as the glasses would always keep adjusting.
