    Google Tilt Brush

Just saw this: http://edition.cnn.com/2016/05/09/ar...gle-tilt-brush (I don't think it has been posted on Hexus news)

I am no artist, and won't have any use for it myself, but it still looks awesome to me.

If VR can be shown to be safe for children to use, I think this beats paper and coloured pencil because it allows them to work in 3D.. well, if you have the space in your house anyway.

Why would you assume VR is unsafe for children?

    Re: Google Tilt Brush

I don't. But we've never come this close to mass adoption of VR (and it still remains to be seen if this one won't fizzle) so there is also a lot of uncharted water. We do know that some people get motion sickness/eye strains, sometime within a pretty short amount of time, which may lead to the question as to whether those kind of side-effects is more damaging to children, or if it's all hunky-dory if they take a rest after X amount of time / start feeling unwell. And we also know that the manufacturers aren't taking risk, and setting recommended age limit (which I am sure is/will get ignored).
