Sliding through the 10M vote threshold, and it's leave by 80K. We've seen some solid remain votes coming out of Scotland.
The North and Midlands are swinging further toward Leave than expected. Coventry just came in, and Leave is leading by 180K.
12M votes in, and Leave is still ahead by 290K. Their lead was over 200K but Fife came in with another solid Remain vote, dropping their Lead back to 130K. Colchester helping to bump it back up again. We're a couple of London results away from flipping back the other way.
The BBC does love their graphics. Someone in their IT department is earning their money tonight!
Still good results for Leave, including Watford, which was expected to go Remain. It looks like Turnout has been bigger than expected overall, but especially in England.
At 14M votes in, it's 300K to leave. It's still way too close to call, especially with many of the London votes still to come in.
Think we're in for a recount either way
I'd wager there are some clever people making an absolute fortune on £ arbitrage, given how much volatility there's been.
16M and the results are coming fast. As expected, Edinburgh goes to remain by a large margin, but its not enough. Leave now leading by 480K. More than half the votes still to come in, but Remain have to be worried at this point.
18M, Manchester came in, dropping the lead to around 400K, but the Leave votes are still piling up. Crossing the threshold with 480K lead to Leave.
Pound at the lowest level since 2009.
Nigel Farrage being annoying. We don't need him any more. A big Remain vote from Bristol. Lead is back down to 420K. It could still go the other way.
20M votes in, and Leave's lead is only about 410K. This is still incredibly close. There are a lot of London votes still to come. Not willing to call this yet!
Still 16m ish votes to go..plenty of time for sanity to prevail and remain to pull this back . Usual rubbish level of journalism going on, although I do feel for the sky "stats" man who is clearly being forced into predicting a leave win a it fits with the presenters theme.
Here is hoping that London pulls it back! The next 40minutes should be interesting.
Pound now at it's lowest since 1985. That's going to be an interesting morning. 22M votes in and a lead of 599K for leave.
It's still easily possible for remain to pull this back. It's so close that it's worth recording here so the people who wake up to a result can see just how this progressed. I'm not sure who are the biggest losers from this campaign, politicians or journalists.
24M and Leave by 745K. Birmingham about to announce, with over 700K votes in a single precinct.
BBC now calling it for Leave, by 52% to 48%. Still more results coming in.
Sky also calling it for leave.
This could really happen. I can't quite believe it I'm hugely embarassed to be a UK citizen at this point.
