Those George Formmans are quite good! My girlfriend has one at uni! It makes a real mess with all the fat and oil dripping out, but at least it gets it out of the food! Its actually quite scary the amount of fat most things have in them! Lol, the adverts quite cheesey!

Microwave wise, I am not too sure... I've not had any personal experience with Daewoo, but I'm sure I have read or heard that their quality ain't great! I would go to curry's and see what it looks and feels like in flesh.

I can't operate digital microwaves! Always end up nuking my food! Give me a manual control microwave anyday!

I'm don't know if there are of many of you like me about, but I really struggle to operate digital microwaves! I always end up nuking whatever i put in, even if I'm just trying to defrost or warm something up! Give me a manual control microwave anyday!

The last paragraph lost me, but i agree that analog microwaves are easier.

I need something fairly good looking in case it has to be kept in my room. I'll look on ebuyer again to see if there is anything better than daewoo

you arent generally allowed to take your own electrival kitchen stuff cos it's all got to be tested etc for fire safety. At glasgow uni u arent allowed toastie machines in the kitchen, and you arent allowed kettles or mini fridges in rooms. So you should probably check first.

Most of the halls i've been to have had microwaves in the kitchen tho....

Are you saying buying these 2 items (or equivalents) at tesco?

I went to the tesco at Cannon park, same grill was £35+, microwaves would probably uglier and more expensive
