    Anti Iran war petition

    http://www.petitiononline.com/NWinIran/petition.html

Someone thinks that this sabre rattling by the US is the leadup to another war.

He's made a petition, sign it if you want, or don't if you think that Iran is the perfect next venue for the "Freedom Express"

Iran didnt let nuclear inspectors in

Iran changed their mind after bush got arsey, and now are allowing limited inspections - if they do stupid stuff like that then they are asking for trouble I mean why not let them do a full inspection ? It sounds like they have something to hide

Whether it makes you feel better or not - signing that petition wont change Bush's mind, he will do what he wants, I thought youd know that by now

Governments will do anything they want, to a point.

The point is where they think public opinion is against them to the extent where their party wil not get elected again.

Doing something is better than sitting back and doing nothing.

I suspect there will be massive uprising if England gets involved majorly again. If America decides to get bitchy with Iran, I imagine Great Britain will send in LIMITED troops for peace-keeping efforts.
It has been made clear lately that Britain is being less sesceptable to Americas Bully tactics (Demanding British Citizens in Guantanamo bay be released etc.).
I wont be bothering to sign the petititon because I really dont think that it will help...

Bush has his capital from his recent election and plans to spend it. He's repeated that line enough lately. I wouldn't take my holidays in Iran if I were you folks. Not that you would anyway, but I'm sure you get my drift.

Once Blair get's back in, and unfortunately we all know he will. He'll feel he has a mandate too. He knows there will be no 4th term. He's been quite canny as usual. By staying on knowing he will win he has denied Brown the chance of winning an election. He'll do pretty much as he pleases. I'm so happy that I'm no longer in uniform. Just be part of Blair/Bush's playset.

American politics are simpler than you think: A president's primary goal during his first term is to secure reelection. A president's primary goal during his second term is to secure his legacy. Bush won't do anything he wants unless he can pull the wool over America's eyes again (apparently easier than I thought).

Just what kind of legacy is Bush planning to leave though? The man who brought democracy to the middle east, whether they want it or not? He has his eye on Iran and Syria. No mistake there. What he's going to do about it is the real question.

There's any old saying down in Texas, "When you play with fire you... shame on... fool... we can't get fooled again."

Isn’t America great! I do have a lot of civic pride, but in it’s hard to ignore what is right in front of your face. Bush can’t be blamed for everything though solely. The entire country (the US, my country) must take it as a weight among our collective shoulders. It’s far from one mans fault when talking about the Iraqi war, or most any previous or most likely future wars (or “conflicts”). Unfortunately of the public was/is easily, disturbingly, deceived. Enough so to disillusion a young teenage such as my self, then again didn’t that happen a generation or two ago? The point is as long as we’re so easily fooled no petition will help, but suppose it doesn’t hurt.

Ahh bushisms! The mans a figure of fun, as thick as 15 long planks and just cries out for ridicule! Amusing to watch blair try to admonish the EU "To rebuild relations, we must stop making fun of their Glorious Leader(TM)" Not a chance

It is his second term, but he won't be allowed to poison the chances for the Republican party in 2008. They will be running against Hilary, and they are already getting worried.

btw, don't let antipathy stop you from signing. If nobody give a damn, it will happen.
