My wife just sent me a picture of (what we think is) a raccoon, outside her work just outside North London, and I thought they were a banned species, should she call the local council? RSPCA?
May we see the pic ? There are often scare stories of them in UK, but only one or two escapees have ever been substantiated

Not that keen on giving the DM my traffic, but a quick search on google reveals scare stories from them about 'taking over'. So probably all OK.

I think I've been had. I couldn't see the detail in a small piccie in SMS.
What do you think? Reason for concern? Looks vicious...

Clearly the DM's new journalist doesn't understand what their editor means when he asks for "an article about 'Coons* coming in and taking over"!!
