I drive past this most days. They haven't got them up this year yet...



To be fair, they do have a charity collection pot for people that bring their kids to have a look...

We had a street decorated like that, collecting money for a local children's hospice. It ran successfully for several years, raising several thousand pounds.

Last year the council complained that the visitors were blocking roads and churning up verges and wanted to charge the organisers for the cost of repairs. So they just stopped doing it.

Tree is up, cat is loving pulling things off it

We have a pair of hyperactive 4 month old kittens, I'm thinking I'd may as well just empty the decorations box directly on to the floor and cut out the middle man.
