One of my all time favourite series, just happen to be watching it on GOLD at the minute and I do own the first 20 series on DVD.
He was getting on a bit when the show ended, loved his voice work for Wallace & Gromit, a fine gentleman who will be missed

Cheick Tiote (an ex Newcastle United CDM) apparently died today after collapsing in training. Guy was only 30 years old!
no way? So sad when that happens. None of us have any guarantee how long we have I guess.
One closer to home this morning, Vin Garbutt, folk musican extraorinaire, and a thoroughly bleddy nice bloke. He'd been ill for some time, he will be missed by the entire folk community.

Adam West - Batman from the 60s TV show - no more "dinner, dinner, dinner dinner; dinner, dinner, dinner dinner; batman I fear. I think he might have been the first actor to play Batman, unless there were any films made before then.

I remember watching the old 60's Batman at my Grans house mid to late 70's, yeah it was camp and cheesy but just plain fun
oh my, Mayor West is dead. Another Family Guy extra dies. Carrie Fisher, Adam West... if one of the younger cast goes then something's afoot.
