Unhappy Looks like I've been ripped off

    Ebay - where else

Won the auction on 1st Jan, sent him a cheque which was debited from my account on the 10th, no goods, no reply to any emails or ebay messages.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ME:B:EOAB:UK:6

Anyone had experience of this kind of situation on Ebay ? I appreciate its only £41 but what exactly are my choices here ?

You can request his phone number; give him a ring. That's always helped me in the past.

Cheers guys - I've contacted Ebay and asked them to escalate the issue, I can't see any option to get his details though, anyway here's hoping a message from Ebay themselves gets through, as he's obviously ignoring anything from me...

Yeah, it's a bit odd that he got positive feedback today from someone who bought an identical item. Seems unlikely that he'd randomly choose to scam you and nobody else. GL getting it resolved.

Since when has their been such a big response for airbrushes? Was just looking through his feedback, it dates back to the 3rd of novemeber (for the previous auctions you can view) , and the vast majority of the auctions are the "airbrushes". Surely he cant be selling 1 a day?

I try to avoid eBay now if I can, ever since eBay adverts have been popping up on TV and in the cinema, every Tom, Dick and Harry are using it. The number of scams must have risen by so many times since they started their advertising campaign.

i'm not going to use ebay, simply for the fact that to register you have to give your card details...i don;'t care what planet they are from, no one gets my card details if I'm not actually purchasing something there and then. plus there's all the scams going round - just couldn't be *rsed...

    Jim / Drew

I have still not received a reply from you regarding the precision Airbrush set which I paid youfor on the 10th December. Its is becoming increasingly obvious that you are ignoring any correspondence from me, which it all a bit of a surprise and a huge disappointment. As a keen modeller I was looking
forward to the airbrush set for which I paid well over the odds for.

The majority of your feedback is extremely positive, so I am surprised and somewhat confused at the treatment I have received on this item, I had no fears in bidding on the action as you appeared to be a seller with integrity.

I still want the airbrush, it was a present to myself for Christmas, I would be very grateful for a prompt reply in this matter and that you are intending to provide me with the goods that I paid you for.

Please reply to this matter in the next 24 hours or I will be forced to leave you negative feedback and seek legal advice.

    Many thanks

    John Morrey
