free 4k video edit software

all i need to do is stick the clips together from my action cam as youtube cant do it.

Depending how much editing you need to do, you might be able to join them with something simple like http://www.mp4joiner.org/en/ (open source) and then use another tool to cut - either the splitter on the same page or something like handbrake.

resolve is working but it is hammering my cpu as all on max and took over 2hrs for a 20 min video.?

at this rate it will take 6hrs to upload it to you tube lol.

What CPU?

I'd imagine stitching and transcoding 4k video would take a lot of CPU grunt...

file size is 25gb after rendering

it took 7hrs to up load it but there is red bleeding in the video for some reason? it was not there b4 as added the vids one at a time in you tube.
