Hi. Any tips on how to conserve water and electricity? I was asked to take the lead in finding all ways possible to lower all our utility bills. My boss just found out that the bills are getting higher every month. Suggestions?

Personally, I found that by simply flicking the breaker on the fusebox and closing the stopcock I've conserved 100% of my water and electricity.

I find the 'yellow-mellow' tactic has a limitation of about 25 employees. But that's just my 2 cents...

Put a house brick in the toilet cistern.

Then the usual energy saving things like turning things off that are no longer being used, CCF lights (CFL, LED), timing light switches in less used areas, set computers and other devices to sleep after x amount of non use, etc, etc.

Most utility companies have resource-saving tips (and some offer free save-assist devices) on their websites anyway...
