Do you have any idea what the UK NRA does? Its main purpose is to govern clubs, set the rules for competition, and to build and train teams to shoot in the Olympics, Commonwealth Games and other international sporting competitions. It predates the US NRA.

Well in that case they have a bit of an image problem that isn't really their fault.

Can you have an image problem when you don't have an image? I didn't even know there was a UK NRA until now.

I thought it was the, now defunct, National Rivers Authority.

I certainly hope the UK NRA shares only it's name with the America NRA, and not the same swivel-eyed lunatic philosophy.

if I thought for one moment the NRA were the route of all evil, I'd let you swear and I'd edit the links

but I don't think they are and therefore I haven't.

The IRA, or Boko Haram .. I'd agree

    the NRA. Nahhhh

you'll want the BASC banned next ;-)

I cut the grass, not as short as usual. Didn't sort the car out, had a lie in instead, and a lovely lamb roast.

Had a session on Wipeout, Fallout AND RL

    Successful weekend.

I also see no issue with the National Rounders Association

Plans? Getting some of the gardening I tried to do during the week but gave up on due to heat exhaustion, including testing out the new Li-Ion brushcutter and lawnmower.
This is a sad moment for me, but it's time I admitted I'm middle aged - how are the Li-ion brushcutter and lawnmower? Which brand did you go for? I'm still at the stage of drop-jawed amazement that a lawnmower can run off what is really quite a small battery.

This weekend I tried (unsuccessfully) to teach the boy to ride his bike, visited Bunnings to stare at the power tools while my wife picked up some garden stuff, then on Sunday we visited the St Albans South signal box. This was more interesting than I thought it would be, and the job these guys used to do involved a lot more than I thought it would...

Too much gusting wind for paragliding, so decided to pop over to France & Belgium to buy some cheap booze.
