Looking for . . . prints?

Hi,

I couldn't think of a better place to ask about this. After countless hours of reading and googling I'm turning to the helpful population of Hexus.

Anybody could safely identify these (prints on the pictures) and from where could I get the, presumably, rest of the series, please?

Apart from now feeling vaguely crawly, no results either so far. How did you find these in the first place? separately from their original listing obviously. (I realise having that info can't have helped you; but out of interest.)

There's a not so vague description on each of the pictures (The Computer Man's Guide to bugs) but that revealed exactly nothing. Also, they can't be too old - computer bugs, right?

Found them in a friends house. Having a good time, I was drawn to these, started to ask questions - he got them from his boyfriend and so on. And under the influence of booze and my notorious completion compulsion I've promised to complete the set :|

But I couldn't on my own. Anybody would have any idea even who to ask about these?

It's possible that they were just prints of insects that were remounted with the computer man caption.

If the prints were taken out of the frame, there might be more information on the borders or back of the print itself. However there are risks in doing that.

They do have the feel of being from the early days of computing, the choice of bug names and general phrasing would seem unusual today. For example the phrase 'computer man' peaked in the 70s:

Ah, sorry, I jumped straight to the wrong conclusion from the ebay image hosting. I did wonder like peterb if they were homemade jobs & so even though there are/were more in the 'set' therefore no wonder you can't trace them. Annoying; as a fellow google-until-eyes-glaze-and-persist-long-after-futile person, I would also like to know now. :/

To the best of my knowledge, they're not home made. I'll ask the over next time I'll see him.

Checked Etsy but I couldn't find these prints there (even if I've seen a lot of interesting ones) - thanks for the website!

I'll ask some scholars and some museums, so I can finally finish this 'quest'
