    21st Birthday

Right, yes, i know my 21st isnt for another....5 months, but i need to start planning!!! BUT... i dont know what to do for it! muchos people will be invited, however, i'm assuming this time, that hardly anyone will turn up, especially after my 19th DISASTER! (20 people invited, 5 turned up... hmmm)

So hopefully, if i invite 40 people, only 10 will turn up lol

but seriously, i dont know what to do... it's going to be the last get together of our little uni group as we're all going our seperate ways after this year - some on placements, some leaving to have babies (ok, well just one..), and some staying on for that extra year - so i want to make it a good one...

Plus if i start planning it now, there's no excuse for people not to come like "couldnt get it off work" - BOLLOCKS!

    So... anyone got any ideas?

Have a Bollywood fancy dress party.. never a dull moment!

Personally I went away for my Birthday last year, you can make a rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish of yourself in another city and not be recognised!

So why not invite the odd few close friends, and get yourself away somewhere?

    Big Day of Fun

Something that involves everyone - something like Go-Karting, or Paintballing (or both ) - also means people are more likely to turn up

then at night, whoever's got the biggest flat defaults to holding the party.

tbh, if you plan too much, things can only go wrong. best to sorta just initiate something then go with the flow

Tho being from Glasgow, I can imagine the most exciting part of the night is when the drunks chase ya with their jibber . . .

Book a minibus and the function room of a pub, put £500 behind the bar, drink until you fall over, then pull yourself up off the floor and go out to a club.

Either that or a well planned houseparty in my experience have been the best "huge mega blow-out party"

Book a cottage in the middle of no where for you and some good mates - guranteed turn ups - and go away for a weekend of fun!

A friend of mine is spending their 21st by going down to spend a day in London, going to a west end show then go clubbing in the evening...

Only works if you know someone in London though...
